Is my file uploaded?
No. This tool runs inside your browser with code loaded from signofficially.com. Your file is read, changed and saved on your own device. Open your browser's developer tools, choose the Network tab and use the tool: no file leaves your computer.
Where does the title show?
Browsers and PDF readers show the title in the tab or window bar instead of the file name, and search engines can use it for PDFs on the web.
Are the page contents changed?
No. Only the document information is rewritten. Pages, links, forms and bookmarks stay as they are.
Does it update the XMP metadata too?
The details are written to the document information dictionary that every reader uses. An older XMP copy that would disagree with your changes is removed.
