Questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. This tool runs inside your browser with code loaded from signofficially.com. Your file is read, changed and saved on your own device. Open your browser's developer tools, choose the Network tab and use the tool: no file leaves your computer.
Are the images recompressed?
No. JPEG photos are saved with their original bytes, so there is no quality loss. Other images (PNG-style, scans, drawings stored as pictures) are saved as lossless PNG files.
What is the difference from PDF to JPG?
PDF to JPG takes a picture of each whole page. Extract images pulls out the pictures that are embedded in the pages, at their own size and resolution.
Why is an image missing?
Anything smaller than the minimum size is skipped, and drawings made of lines and shapes are not images. An image used on many pages is saved once.
Is it free?
Yes. Every on-device tool is free to use, with no limits. Paid plans add unlimited signature requests, teams and more.
