What happens to the page and the PDF?
The page is opened on our servers in a fresh browser that keeps no cookies or history, printed to a PDF, and the PDF is deleted automatically within one hour. We do not keep a copy of the page.
Can it open pages that need a login?
No. The page is opened without your cookies, so it sees what a visitor who is not signed in sees. For a page behind a login, save it as an .html file and use HTML to PDF, or print it to PDF from your browser.
Which addresses are allowed?
Public http and https web pages on the normal ports. Addresses inside private networks, localhost and other internal addresses are refused, for every redirect and every image or script on the page too.
Why does the page look different from my browser?
Pages are printed at a desktop width with print styles applied, the same as Print to PDF in Chrome. Content that only loads after scrolling or clicking may be missing.
Is it free?
Yes, with a daily allowance. Paid plans raise the limits and file sizes.
